Hey Sweet Friend!
I’m Sarah Grace, I’m a former teacher turned stay at home mom and cookie decorator. I waded through endless YouTube videos myself trying to teach myself how to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing. I had a hard time finding things that covered the basics, so once I learned and started my own home bakery in 2019, I made the channel I wish I’d had when I got started! To my absolute amazement, lots of you needed what I did too, because that channel has grown into a community of over 15,000 people today! As I talked to more and more cookie decorators I realized that we all follow a similar path when it comes to decorating, and I created a shortcut to learning the skills to decorate stunning cookies called the Cookie Classroom! Its helped over 3,000 people learn the art and joy of cookie decorating!
For Business or For Fun!
I talked a lot on my channel about running my home bakery and how that allowed my husband and I to pay off dept while I got to stay home with my boys. That was just the beginning, though. Over the years, I’ve been able to see just how much that little home bakery business was able to grow, how I was able to monetize my baking talents, and how the business skills I built in my kitchen have served me for the last five years of business! So, back in 2022, I created The Cookie Career Academy. It began as a place for Cookier specific business advice, tools, and templates basically a cookie business in a box. Over the years, its grown into a place where I get to teach and coach baking business owners (even a few who are baking things besides cookies) in creating an intentional business that they love and fits their life, DIYing their way to a profitable baking business with “how to build it” tutorials for websites, graphics, business cards, and more using a strategic approach to becoming the sought after “artist baker”.

Whether you’re here for business or just for fun, I’m glad you’re here. Cookie decorating was something I fell in love with at a time in my life when I was transitioning from being a teacher to being a stay-at-home momma of twin babies. I had a hard time adjusting to my new normal, but the creativity, community, and joy I found in cookie decorating helped me thrive and has now allowed me to meet and get to know so many incredible people, have the opportunity to speak on the TEDX Stage, and live out my dreams with my little boys at my side watching me pursue my passion and create the life I’ve always dreamed of. My hope for you is that something I share will inspire you, fill you with joy, or even just bring a bright spot to your day in the middle of life’s challenges.
